It may not come as any great surprise that this site takes cold hard cash to run.

The overhead for hosting and assorted plugins not withstanding, scanning of images requires a hefty pocket of change. At $.20 per image you can do the math for the nearly 3,000 images that are posted just to the the 1974 Dayton Stock Nationals.

The goal is to get images in all categories posted to the site over the next year, giving boat racing fans a glimpse into some of the best races the sport has offered.

There are two ways you can support the site financially. Obviously, getting lots of eyeballs on the Speed & Spray site is key –so please do tell your friends.

But if you are able, you can make a donation to the site. All donations will assist in defraying the cost of the site.

Additionally, if you see an image you like, you may also order a print. I’ve tried to make prints affordable. Note you can order a straight black and white print, or there other options — a canvas print ready to hang on your well or a metallic print.
